IT'S OVER

Oh so sad as I managed to finish my sweater in time but am still so psyched about how well it turned out that I wish I could keep on wearing it. Already planning to recreate in a more all year round colour to cushion the back-on-the-hanger-you-go blow.

Nb. Please ignore my bizarre grimace in this photo. I couldn't have been less ready.

  1. That's excellent..really. I don't know what exactly I think when I hear people are knitting, but it isn't this kind of intricate work. Wow.

Hope the holidays treated you and yours well.

  2. Aaah thank you! It turned out quite darling, even if I do say so myself... Version 2.0 shall have shorter arms, though.

It was a mega Christmas, watching a little kid I know whose favourite present, of all the laptops and dancing Mickey Mouses, was a toy hoover. And the way he wolfed down dinner, you'd think he was one.

Hope yours was equally as swell! x

  3. Good to hear it. Ours was great thanks.

I don't know what it is with these youngin's and vacuum cleaners. My boy's got this problem too...he has a fisher price "popcorn popper" that he lunges around the house with pretending to sweep...real dramatic..."Look Out Daddy!" Swoosh, swoosh.

I just hope he's that eager in a few years when he has to start earin' his keep.

Be watchin' for the next finished product.

  5. Invest in a mothball, if you haven't already. It'd be a shame, come 12 months, if your jumps has been dined out on.

  6. Thanks for the incredibly kind words, you lot. I will wear it on the sly when no one's home and mothball the moths into oblivion. x

  9. Melinda, I'm working on it already! A couple of my best friends are getting married in March so I'm hoping it will be nice enough for my boyfriend to wear to the ceremony. Thank you for sharing it! x
