Someone with a real dry sense of humour and lovely temperament passed away this weekend; I had to take the call today when his brother let us know. Completely coincidentally, I found photos of the above exhibition online a few hours later, about memory and memorialising.

I now want to cover his office entirely in crochet cobwebs.

  1. I'm really sorry to hear that.

The cobwebs are beautiful and I like the observation about the knots representing trapped thoughts...memories.

I sometimes stare at the neo and expressionist abstract paintings that love so much and think about sections and details and how they represent a moment of purpose...it might look like a mess at a glance but, every spot...had to be thought about...a thought, a movement, contemplation, etc

I think until now I've just chalked it up to the obsessive analysis issues that I have...maybe it's just a nice thought.

    Sorry again for your loss.
